| Shira's mother taught her to crochet lace patterns. She incorporates these into kipot designs. Her kipot are worn by men and women in Toronto, San Francisco, the Virgin Islands, New York and Jerusalem. Over the past ten years, Shira has expanded her designs to create exquisite challah covers and women's talitot, especially for b'nai mitzvoth. |

As I carve each mezuzah, my intention is to have it evoke the words from Psalm 91:1 “May you dwell in the shelter of the Most High and abide in the protection of the Almighty.” |
